🏈 Dan Campbell. Winner.
Week 14 Waivers, Injuries, Memes, Jared Goff's girlfriend and Rashaad Penny.
Good morning. Especially to N’Keal Harry. After he fumbled a punt, idk if we’ll ever see him again.
And gm to Jared Goff, who we felt bad for - until you see his Sports Illustrated Swimsuit girlfriend (and this video of her)… Who needs wins
Joe Judge of the Day
In the first drive of Judge’s first game, he had a 4th and 1 from the Steelers 40 and took an intentional delay of game to punt. Bro what. Now this:
Week 14 Waivers
Waiver pickups can make or break a season - think Alfred Morris (Rookie Year), Arian Foster, or guys like Cordarelle Patterson and Elijah Mitchell. This late in the season, you could grab the following (in order of priority):
Rashaad Penny is the top pickup this week. Hopefully, you listened to us weeks ago and stashed him. Penny looked explosive in Alex Collins’ (abdomen) absence, with almost 6 yards per carry on 11 touches (62 yards). He’s the best healthy RB for a Seattle team obsessed with establishing the run.
Taysom Hill might not be a real-life QB, but he sure is a fantasy QB. 20+ points despite 4-picks is a great example of his upside. 11 rushes for 101 yards added 10 points, and it’s realistic to expect a rushing TD in his near future.
One of the Titans RB: Dontrelle Hillard or D'Onta Foreman. One of them will be good, especially as the Titans offense wants to establish the run against a Charmine-Ultra-Soft Jaguars run D. The only concern for is what role Jeremy McNichols plays when he returns.
JaMycal Hasty is the only healthy RB in San Fran right now. Except for Trey Lance. And (probably) Frank Gore.
Russell Gage isn’t a sexy pick (at all), but defenses have double-teamed Kyle Pitts since the Falcons lost Calvin Ridley. Gage is the only option and caught 11-of-12 targets for 130 yards in Week 13.
Amon-Ra St. Brown is on a Lions team likely to be losing in most games. As Jared Goff's go-to guy in Week 13, St. Brown caught 10-of-12 targets for 86 yards and a TD. Lions play Atlanta in Week 16, and Seattle in Week 17.
K.J. Osborn: With Thielen likely out for Week 14, Osborn has potential after catching four passes (seven targets) for 47 yards and a score against the Lions.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: There's a chance Julio Jones (hamstring) returns, but A.J. Brown (chest) will be out at least another two games. NWI is Tannehill’s top target and played 83% of snaps last week.
Devante Parker: After catching 5:5 for 62 yards, Parker has topped 11 fantasy points in the last three games he has played.
Deep league streamers: Cam Newton, Josh Reynolds, Laquon Treadwell.
Mentioned previously, but worth checking: Tevin Coleman, Van Jefferson, Mike Boone, Khalil Herbert.
Q: Did you draft an RB not named Jonathan Taylor?
A: Yes, they’re injured
Elijah Mitchell entered league’s concussion protocol on Monday. He was taken out of the game on Sunday but cleared to return. Unfortunately, he reportedly experienced some symptoms the next day - we won’t get clarity on his availability until later in the week.
With Trey Sermon on IR and Jeff Wilson’s knee flaring up, JaMycal Hasty is worth stashing.
Adam Thielen suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday and missed practice. It’s a long shot for Thielen to play on a short week against the Steelers on Thursday. Dalvin Cook is also expected to miss Thursday’s game but should return in Week 15.
Darren Waller was expected to be week-to-week, but made progress and has a chance to play this week. Will keep an eye on this.
Logan Thomas was initially believed to have suffered a torn MCL and ACL, but after undergoing an MRI it looks like the injury is less severe. He is still undergoing further tests to find out the extent of his injury. Such a shame.
Julio Jones has been activated from IR and should return on Sunday. Despite a great matchup, the Titans may be cautious with Julio in his first action in over a month.
Robert Salah said Corey Davis is undergoing season-ending core-muscle surgery. Our Elijah Moore just got even more valuable, as he will be a focal point of the offense going forward.
Keenan Allen was placed on Reserve/Covid-19 list. He still has a chance to play if he can provide two negative Covid tests 24 hours apart before Sunday, which seems unlikely.
Defensive Streamers
If you’ve got an elite defense, you’re starting them. For the rest of us, there’s Mastercard. And many great streamers this week:
Green Bay Packers DST vs. CHI - Regardless of starter, the Bears have been turnover machines, with 2 in their first two possessions against the Cardinals.
New Orleans Saints DST @ NYJ - One reason: Zach Wilson.
Carolina Panthers DST vs. ATL - The Falcons give up the most points to opposing defenses.
Seattle Seahawks DST @ HOU - Tyrod Taylor and Rex Burkhead are key contributors in Houston. Do you really need convincing?
Los Angeles Chargers vs. NYG - Jake Fromm was replaced by Mitch Trubisky, yet will likely start for the Giants this weekend. The Chargers defense is no joke (I know, I’m a Bengals fan), but the entire Giants organization is a joke. Grab the Chargers and laugh.
Quick Slants
Wind in Buffalo blew Adam Schefter straight out of his chair LOL (video)
Cooper Kupp giving the most technical answer anyone’s ever heard from a wide receiver and talking like a NASCAR driver trying to get all his sponsors in (video).
Justin Herbert with a throw that stressed the laws of physics and put the timeline into high gear (video)
A quick and funny recap of the end of the Lions game (video)
Gardner Minshew after the game with an emotional moment with his dad, who tries to make it to every one of his games (video)
Matt Rhule wanted the Panthers to rush 30-33 times a game. They had only 16 rushes in their last game before the bye. OC Joe Brady was fired.

Tweet of the Day
Thanks for joining us this AM. The road to glory continues.
- Jake & Eddie
Hi Jake & Eddie,
Eddie - Hope you’re recovering well post your surgery.
This week is must win for me to get to playoffs. I’d love to get your thoughts on the below -
1. I have Mahomes as my QB and the last time he faced LV he scored 36 pts. But his last few games have been below par. Carr, Cousins and C Newton are some waiver options. What would you suggest? Stick with Mahomes?
2. I have L Thomas who is Out for few games 😥. Desperately need a TE. Who would you pick out of these? Schultz, Conklin, N Vannett, J Bates, Kmet, Engram and RSJ
3. Any good kicker you could suggest for this week? I have King Tucker right now.
4. I currently have Evans and Renfrow as my Wr1&2; both have tough matchups. Need all the WRs to do well. Which three would you pick from this exhaustive list 🙂 - Evans, Renfrow, MSV, Landry, J Jones, Treqon Smith (e Harris out), C Samuel (w L Thomas out), Crowder (w Davis out), Shenault, KJ Osborn (w AT out)
I’m blindly following whatever you guys recommend.
