My home league draft was last night, and it didn’t go well. It was a good lesson in taking #myguys over value players like Robert Woods. No disrespect to Bobby Trees, but Kyle Pitts is on another level.
But this isn’t about me, this is about fantasy football. Let’s go:
Not good for D Swift owners
MLive.com's Kyle Meinke reports D'Andre Swift has missed "significant practice time while nursing a sore groin" during training camp.
Also Michael Thomas:
Very good for Antonio Gibson
Antonio Gibson played in Washington's "turbo set" on Sunday, signaling potential for an expanded role.
Getting that role (think 2-min offense) is huge for Gibson - he’ll be on the field in many more scoring opportunities, a role that JD McKissic dominated last year.
Not another Hollywood Brown hype post
More Jakobi Meyers hype
I don’t care about training camp reports
As a Bengals fan, and an optimist, I’m ignoring the Bengals camp news. None of its good… read this:
The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. writes Bengals No. 5 overall pick Ja'Marr Chase "has not shown as much separation as you’d hope" in training camp.
Quick hits
Lamar Jackson said he's talking to team doctors and "learning" about the COVID-19 vaccine.
Mecole Hardman is listed as the Chiefs' No. 2 receiver on the team's first depth chart of 2021.
Thanks for reading!! Hope your home draft goes better than mine - team still ended up solid just didn’t get my guys.
